Community Calendar

Ceramics teach a number of a valuable skills, including perseverance, patience, problem solving, and creativity! Bring your kiddos in to come and play with clay and learn how to use this fun medium to create functional and decorative pieces.

We'll alternate between learning the basics of handbuilding, wheel throwing, and glazing each week, so sign your kids up for multiple sessions to give them the full experience! Each student will proudly come out of class with at least one or two ceramic pieces that they built themselves. Ceramic artists and experienced teachers, Mindy Curran & Ben Alexander, will facilitate this class.

Improv Comedy played as a sport!

Get ready for an evening of laughter like no other. Every ComedySportz match is a one-of-a-kind comedy showdown where two teams of improvisers go head-to-head, battling for points and your laughs. Armed with only your suggestions, the players create scenes, games, songs, and more – all on the spot. Our referee keeps the action fast, clean, and hilariously competitive. The best part? You’re part of the show. Shout out suggestions, cheer on your favorite team, and help decide who takes home the comedy crown.

No two shows are ever the same, and everyone from your best friend to your grandma will have a blast.

Join us every Wednesday in the Boise Brewing taproom for trivia with Geeks Who Drink, hosted by Professor Truman. Stretch those brain muscles and test your knowledge of random trivia facts, including music and film clip rounds! Plus, you have a chance to win beer in every round! Gear up for a whirlwind of fun with our energetic storytime! It's a perfect blend of captivating stories, toe-tapping tunes, groovy moves, and loads of learning! After storytime we will dive into 30 minutes of open play.

Come laugh for a great cause! 50% of ticket proceeds from this ComedySportz performance benefit Boise School District’s STEP @ DTEC program.

ComedySportz is fast-paced improv comedy played like a sport. Two teams face off in a high-energy match, creating scenes, games, and songs on the spot using audience suggestions. A referee keeps things moving, clean, and hilariously competitive—while you cheer, shout ideas, and help decide the winner.

Every show is completely unique, fun for all ages, and perfect for everyone from kids to grandparents. Join the community, enjoy a night of laughter, and support local students at the same time!

This performance is suitable for all ages.

This ongoing class is designed for entry-level and experienced students alike, looking for more practice time on the pottery wheel. Experienced clay instructor, Casey Gurr, will offer guided, small-group instruction for anyone interested in learning the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. More advanced students are welcome to use this time to practice what they already know and try new tricks! After creating about 1-3 pieces, we will dry and fire their pieces for them. Most pieces are ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks.
