Idaho Student Journalists Tackle New News Media

News media has changed drastically since the beginning of the 2016 presidential election. Fake news, Russian bots, data mining and targeted news have changed the way front-line reporters get their content to consumers. 

Corporate consolidation, a declining print industry and website acquisitions have made the media employment landscape volatile and unpredictable. On Tuesday's Idaho Matters, we spoke with Taylor Munson, online editor with the Boise State University Arbiter and Savannah Cardon, editor-in-chief with the University of Idaho Argonaut about the challenges facing young journalists entering the workforce in 2018.
