- Idaho's guardian ad litem programs provide a voice to represent abused and neglected children. On Thursday's Idaho Matters, we'll look at the programs and the efforts to improve them.

- Seasonal Affective Disorder is a strain of depression that shifts with the season, often spiking in the winter as sunlight and heat are reduced. As we come up on the winter solstice, we'll look at ways of warding off the 'winter blues' with Inger Persson from Saint Alphonsus Behavioral Health.

- On December 31, a huge potatowill drop from the capitol dome in Boise. We'll learn everything we can about giant, electric potatoes.
