The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals heard arguments from attorneys representing both the State of Idaho and state inmate Adree Edmo on May 16. The State of Idaho is appealing an earlier lower federal court ruling ordering the state to provide sex reassignment surgery for the transgender inmate.
