Idaho's average teacher pay has declined by 6.4% since 2009, adjusted for inflation. This is just one of the reasons cited by Idaho Education Association president Kari Overall and Idaho Association of School Administrators executive director Rob Winslow for the inability of the state to retain experienced teachers.
