  • Our Reporter Roundtable rounds up the news of the week.
  • Looking back in time with Galaxy Clusters.
  • Bull riding in Hailey.

-It’s time for our Reporter Roundtable, where we get you up to date on all the news that made headlines around our region. Joining Gemma Gaudette this week are Betsy Russell with the Idaho Press, Mike Sharp from KIVI Six On Your Side Television and Don Day with Boisedev.

-Galaxy Clusters happen when gravity pulls galaxies together into groups. They are helping scientists get a look at some of the oldest places in the universe. Idaho Matters talks to one astrophysicist about how these clusters are formed and why they are important to Earthlings.

-The Sun Valley PBR Classic will bring professional bull riders to Hailey on August 3. This is one of only two PBR events in the Gem State this year. Gemma Gaudette talks to a former world champion rider about the event.

As Senior Producer of our live daily talk show Idaho Matters, I’m able to indulge my love of storytelling and share all kinds of information (I was probably a Town Crier in a past life!). My career has allowed me to learn something new everyday and to share that knowledge with all my friends on the radio.
