Jim Weatherby (center) meets with candidates for Idaho Secretary of State positions in 2014. Weatherby has been a longtime fixture in Idaho political commentary.

The Boise City Club's mission is "things happen when people start talking." Every year, they recognize a member of the community to celebrate achievements in civil discourse with the Stimpson Award. This year the award will go to Jim Weatherby, former Director of the Public Policy Center at Boise State University. The Boise City Club President joins Idaho Matters to discuss Weatherby's achievements.
