After Receiving Backlash, BYU-Idaho Will Now Accept Students On Medicaid
Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg is apologizing and reversing a policy that would have barred students from using Medicaid to meet the school’s requirement for health coverage to enroll. Low-income students complained that they’d have to go into debt to buy health insurance that complied with school policy.
