Most college students dread group projects. Dividing the work evenly is always hard, and even basic communication can be stressful. Idaho State University professor Alex Bolinger researches groups and teams, and for his honors class, he thought a textbook wouldn’t suffice.
For the past several years, he has lead small application-only classes through the process of writing a book together in a span of three months.
Ashley French and Sophia Perry are two of the four students in last spring’s class. Together, they wrote the book “Images of America: Idaho in World War II." They join Idaho Matters along with their professor Alex Bolinger to talk more about the process.
