We know that there isn’t an industry that hasn’t been touched by the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Arts organizations are in a serious predicament. With no live performances, many artists and companies are looking for other ways to share their art and make ends meet.
In Boise, Ballet Idaho is one such organization. their spring performance, called “Light/Dark,” was called off the day of the opening show, when Idaho confirmed its first case of COVID-19. But their team quickly switched gears and embraced the new reality.
Joining Idaho Matters today to talk about how they’ve adapted and what lessons this has taught them is artistic director Garrett Anderson, and choreographer Dani Rowe.
