Boise Comic Arts Festival Embraces Virtual Platform In Its Eighth Year

Boise Public Library
Boise Comic Arts Festival 2019.

The Boise Library’s Comic Arts Festival has become an annual tradition over the last eight years. But this year, like so many events, the summer event has been reformatted.

Daily Dungeons and Dragons games this week lead up to the main event Saturday, Sept. 19 where panelists and presenters will share about their comic art and how the industry has been affected by COVID-19.

Joining Idaho Matters now to talk about what we can expect at Saturday’s festival is Joshua Shapel, events coordinator at the Boise Public Library.

As COVID-19 cases spread through the U.S. and Idaho, we’re committed to keeping you updated and informed. You can get updated info on cases, closures and how to stay healthy at any time on our Coronavirus news blog.
