Grief, Children

As we continue to deal with the coronavirus pandemic and the reality of sickness (and sometimes death) there are people we need to make sure we’re checking on to make sure they’re okay. We’re talking about children. Grief is hard enough for adults to deal with, let alone knowing what to do to help our children navigate this.

Joining Idaho Matters today to talk about this and to give all of us some tools to help children is Kathy Couch, a certified thanatologist with St. Lukes (that means she studies death, dying and bereavement). She’s spent the majority of her career focusing on children’s grief and bereavement.

As COVID-19 cases spread through the U.S. and Idaho, we’re committed to keeping you updated and informed. You can get updated info on cases, closures and how to stay healthy at any time on our Coronavirus news blog.
