Did you know that up in the night sky alongside the planets, moons and asteroids there are also cosmic relics? They're called globular clusters and they’re billions of years old.

Residing in the Milky Way, these groups of stars give us insight into the earliest days of our galaxy. Which is why Dr. Madeleine McKenzie spends so much time studying their light.

She joined Idaho Matters to talk more about what her research is uncovering.
