How do you find alien life? Well, first you need to find planets that might be able to support life. And that’s not as easy as it looks.
Scientists have been able to find planets orbiting distant stars, known as exoplanets, often big, Jupiter-sized planets that are relatively young. And now they’re hoping that the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will let them find smaller, older planets that might be able to support life. And the telescope is set to blast into space Aug. 30 on a SpaceX rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida!
