This class trains the human how to teach the dog. The theme of the program is control and enthusiasm. The ultimate goal is an attentive, enthusiastic dog, under complete control, that responds immediately and eagerly to all commands. The course is six weeks and will cover the basic obedience commands: watch me, leave it, heal, sit, down, stay, and come. Various training strategies will be covered in the course. The course will utilize the distraction of dogs and people to master the skills. This course is being taught by Denise Baxter.
