Join us for WalkAbout Boise — a 1.5-hour guided walking tour through 150 years of history and architecture. Let us introduce you to the built environment that makes downtown Boise like no other place. This tour is great for visitors and for Idaho residents who want to learn more about how Boise's vibrant downtown developed and the people who made it happen. *Please register online or by phone. We meet at the bench in front of the Basque Museum. These walking tours will be held rain or shine, so please plan and dress accordingly with comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, an umbrella if needed for sun or rain, and a bottle of water. They will start promptly at 10 am and end around 11:30 pm, beginning and ending in front of the Basque Museum on Grove Street downtown Boise. Walking Tour highlights include: -Downtown's evolution from gold rush boomtown, through urban renewal decline, and 21st century revitalization -The oldest and newest buildings downtown, spanning 150 years of construction -Buildings associated with Boise’s historic Basque, German, Jewish, and Chinese communities -The Idaho State Capitol and Boise City Hall -Buildings designed by early pioneers and nationally known master architects -The Egyptian Theater
Join us again for the Access to Justice FUND Run/Walk benefitting the Access to Justice Idaho campaign! The Access to Justice Idaho campaign raises funds for the three main providers of free civil legal services to poor and vulnerable Idahoans: DisAbility Rights Idaho, Idaho Legal Aid Services, and Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program.

Ready for a free, fun and educational outdoor adventure? Gather up your friends and family for a self-guided biking quest along the Garden City Greenbelt and explore a lesser-known stretch of this beautiful river corridor!Park in the Boise Hawks Stadium parking lot and check in at our education station between 10-11:30 a.m. to get your map. Along your 3-mile greenbelt journey, you'll discover interactive stops hosted by community partners from 10 a.m.-noon, where you'll learn about the Boise River ecosystem, local wildlife, and how the greenbelt supports healthy transportation choices. The quest encourages biking as a way to enjoy the outdoors, connect with nature, and get around our community sustainably.The journey will conclude at The WaterShed, where families can celebrate completing the quest and continue learning through hands-on activities.This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to explore, learn, and move together while gaining a deeper appreciation for the Boise River and the role active transportation plays in our region!
Join us and get down and dirty with our paint pour class. We'll teach you three techniques then set you free to create your masterpiece. Cost is $35 per person. This class is super beginner friendly and open to all ages!
