Rural Idaho Sees Higher Voting Rates Than Cities

Recent data from the Idaho Secretary of State's office indicates that voting rates in many Idaho counties are below the national average and that rural voters cast ballots at a higher rate than urban Idahoans. Idaho Matters looks at changing voter trends in the Gem State with political analyst Justin Vaughn.

Gemma is the host of Idaho Matters, Boise State Public Radio's daily show which broadcasts live Monday-Friday at noon. She is an award-winning journalist and has spent the majority of her broadcasting career in Idaho. Gemma was a television news anchor and reporter in Boise for close to 15 years.
