  • Cycling rights and regulations.
  • Are shipping containers the future of dorms?

- Boise is known for being a bike-friendly city, with the Greenbelt as well as designated bike lanes on major roads. But part of the agreement when you go for a bike ride in the city is that you will observe the rules of the roads. In July, a cyclist was hit by a car and injured. On September 30, the court ordered the cyclist to pay a fine, saying that she had not complied with the rules of the road and was at fault. Idaho Matters discusses more this incident and its larger implications.

- Shipping container homes are beginning to catch on in the Treasure Valley and beyond. Now College of Idaho is partnering with housing manufacturer IndieDwell to create dorms with shipping containers. Idaho Matters talks to College of Idaho about this potentially revolutionary move.
