Inclusive Idaho Group Talks Race And Identity As The State Becomes More Diverse

The 2020 census showed a 5% decrease in the number of white people living in the Gem State — but is Idaho becoming more inclusive as it diversifies?

Idaho Matters is joined by Inclusive Idaho Executive Director Whitney Mestelle and Austin Foudy, the organization's Director of Community Impact and Outreach. The group is planning to host its Inclusive Conversations series at Treefort Music Fest in Boise next week.

Frankie Barnhill is the Senior Producer of Idaho Matters, Boise State Public Radio's daily show and podcast. She's always interested in hearing surprising and enlightening stories about life in the West. Have an idea for Idaho Matters? Drop her a line!
