How do your sleep habits impact your day?

When Fortune Magazine published “Waking up at 5 a.m. every day could improve your life,” it raised more than a few eyebrows. But sleep specialists say there's a lot more to consider and that getting enough sleep is critical.

Dr. Nikole Benders-Hadi is a psychiatrist and medical director at Included Health and she joined Morning Edition host George Prentice to talk about our sleep habits.

When people ask me, “What time do you start Morning Edition?” my go-to answer is, “Don’t worry. No matter what time you get up, we’re on the job.”
