This ongoing class is designed for entry-level and experienced students alike, looking for more practice time on the pottery wheel. Experienced clay instructor, Casey Gurr, will offer guided, small-group instruction for anyone interested in learning the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. More advanced students are welcome to use this time to practice what they already know and try new tricks! After creating about 1-3 pieces, we will dry and fire their pieces for them. Most pieces are ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks.

Ceramics teach a number of a valuable skills, including perseverance, patience, problem solving, and creativity! Bring your kiddos in to come and play with clay and learn how to use this fun medium to create functional and decorative pieces.

We'll alternate between learning the basics of handbuilding, wheel throwing, and glazing each week, so sign your kids up for multiple sessions to give them the full experience! Each student will proudly come out of class with at least one or two ceramic pieces that they built themselves. Ceramic artists and experienced teachers, Mindy Curran & Ben Alexander, will facilitate this class.

Join us and get down and dirty without paint pour class. We'll teach you three techniques then set you free to create your masterpiece. Our Class starts at $35 but we offer a discount when you bring a friend. This class is super beginner friendly and open to all ages!

We are kicking off a series of gardening classes taught by Master Gardeners of the University of Idaho Extension Office, Ada County. Join us for the first of many in this monthly series.This month, we will learn tried and true tips for success in your gardens. This session will focus on steps to take in the early winter months to prepare your plants, soil, and area for the springtime. Our experts will guide us through deciding what to plant, planning your garden layout, optimal planting and harvest dates & much more!
