The ultimate goal is an attentive, enthusiastic dog, under complete control, that responds immediately and eagerly to all commands. The course is six weeks and will cover the basic obedience commands: watch me, leave it, heal, sit, down, stay, and come. Various training strategies will be covered in the course. The course will utilize the distraction of dogs and people to master the skills. This course is being taught by Denise Baxter. Denise is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, a Pet Partners Evaluator, and an Alliance of Therapy Dogs Tester/Observer. Denise has been teaching dog obedience classes since 1997.
Buying a home in 2026 can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Join us for a free Home Buying Seminar where local real estate and lending experts walk you step-by-step through today’s market, financing options, and what it really takes to get your offer accepted. In one focused session, you’ll learn how to budget for your purchase, understand loan programs and down payment assistance, and avoid the most common (and costly) mistakes buyers make. You’ll leave with a clear game plan, practical checklists, and direct access to professionals who can answer your questions long after the seminar ends.

This ongoing class is designed for entry-level and experienced students alike, looking for more practice time on the pottery wheel. Experienced clay instructor, Casey Gurr, will offer guided, small-group instruction for anyone interested in learning the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. More advanced students are welcome to use this time to practice what they already know and try new tricks! After creating about 1-3 pieces, we will dry and fire their pieces for them. Most pieces are ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks.
