Boise Art Museum’s Art in the Park is widely recognized as one of the premiere cultural events in the Northwest. This open-air festival, held on the weekend following Labor Day each September, provides visitors of all ages and interests with the opportunity to meet more than 240 artists and purchase their works. During the three-day event, Boise Art Museum presents a variety of contemporary arts and crafts along with an exceptional array of live entertainment, wonderful food, and hands-on activities for children.
A special night for families with neurodivergent and other special needs. This is an evening not open to the general public, with limited attendance in order to create a quieter and calmer atmosphere. Go Therapy dogs will be there, and noise cancelation headphones and weighted vests are available. The cost is $8 per person and members are free. Lace up your shoes and make a difference in the lives of young people right here in Nampa. Every stride you take in this community-focused 5K supports the vital programs of the Boys & Girls Club of Canyon County, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Imagine crossing the finish line at Centennial Elementary, knowing you've contributed to a stronger future for our kids. This isn't just a race; it's an opportunity to champion their dreams! Enjoy a scenic 3.1-mile course along the Nampa Greenbelt, a commemorative t-shirt and finisher item, and the inspiring energy of fellow supporters. This event is perfect for all runners and walkers alike.
Please consider donating a gently used pair of shoes at Fleet Feet Meridian or Fleet Feet Nampa and receive $5 off your race registration. Let's step up for our kids together! It would be best to drop off donations at one of the shops but feel free to bring your donated shoes to the event. Our goal is to get as many kids a fresh pair of shoes for the upcoming school year as possible!

Each August, Donnelly comes alive with the sweet scent of summer and the unmistakable spirit of small-town celebration during the annual Huckleberry Festival. This beloved tradition brings together locals and visitors to honor the iconic wild berry that dots our surrounding hillsides.
For years, the festival has been a highlight of the season, offering a full weekend of fun for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a vibrant parade down Main Street, browse artisan vendor booths, and sample an irresistible array of huckleberry treats.
The festivities also include live music, a community breakfast, a spirited fun run, kids’ games and activities, and plenty of opportunities to connect with friends old and new. The Huckleberry Festival is the perfect way to celebrate what makes our community so special.

Enjoy a day just for YOUwith interactive booths that provide valuable women’s health & wellness information, healthy food snacks, local vendors, break out classes with tips on fitness, body, heart soul & strength. The Women’s Expo brings women together for a fun day ! A FREE raffle will take place at the end of the day must be present and attend the 3 hour event to win !
The 2025 season of Meridian’s popular Concerts on Broadway series will feature three Saturday night concerts in Meridian City Hall’s outdoor plaza, located at 33 E. Broadway Avenue in downtown Meridian. Each of the concerts are free to attend and the headliners take the stage at 7:00 pm.
Soul Patch will kick off the season on Saturday, July 12, with country rock greats. On Saturday, August 9, Rockabetty will play tributes to female rockabilly greats from the 50s and 60s. Last but not least, on Saturday, September 6 the Billy Blues Band will bring danceable blues hits from across the decades.
Seating is available in the plaza’s built-in amphitheater, but attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or lawn blankets. Food truck vendors will be onsite, and Loose Screw Beer will be serving drinks. Guests are also welcome to bring along their favorite foods and beverages.
Concerts on Broadway in 2025 is a presentation of the Meridian Arts Commission with sponsorship support from the Meridian Development Corporation, Investment Resources of America, Idaho Central Credit Union, Las Calaveras, and Loose Screw Beer.
