Even if you don't need guidance, there will be a Cat Clay staff member available in all sessions to provide support and answer questions!
Wandercraft is supplying a free craft night hosted by Books on the Vine every Thursday! Join us for a different craft every week, from bookmarks to journals and roses made from pages. Feel free to share ideas too! We also have a craft swap once a month and keep supplies in store to craft on other days!
Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Lara Beitz is a star in the Los Angeles comedy scene. Her stand-up has been featured on Showtime, Comedy Central, and The Late Late Show with James Corden. On Comedy Central's Lights Out with David Spade, she was the first comedian ever to do stand-up. Following that performance, she was made a regular panelist on the show. After being named a New Face at the 2022 Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, she was asked to appear in their Best of The Fest TV special, which was then made available on AppleTV+ and Crave in Canada. Lara can also be seen in Showtime's Comedy Store docuseries. She has toured with Joe Rogan, Marc Maron, Theo Von, and Pete Holmes, and has been interviewed on The Joe Rogan Experience, WTF with Marc Maron, You Made it Weird with Pete Holmes, and many, many more. She is an internationally touring headliner and performs regularly at The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, and Laugh Factory. Her debut special, Stoppable, is currently streaming on AppleTV, Amazon Prime Video and more.

Plein Air Painters of Idaho presents their first Virtual Art show featuring artist from across the state of Idaho. The show was juried and awards were given. Some of the art is for sale by the artists.
This ongoing class is designed for entry-level and experienced students alike, looking for more practice time on the pottery wheel. Experienced clay instructor, Casey Gurr, will offer guided, small-group instruction for anyone interested in learning the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. More advanced students are welcome to use this time to practice what they already know and try new tricks! After creating about 1-3 pieces, we will dry and fire their pieces for them. Most pieces are ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks.

Join us for WalkAbout Boise — a 1.5-hour guided walking tour through 150 years of history and architecture. Let us introduce you to the built environment that makes downtown Boise like no other place. This tour is great for visitors and for Idaho residents who want to learn more about how Boise's vibrant downtown developed and the people who made it happen. *Please register online or by phone. We meet at the bench in front of the Basque Museum. These walking tours will be held rain or shine, so please plan and dress accordingly with comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, an umbrella if needed for sun or rain, and a bottle of water. They will start promptly at 10 am and end around 11:30 pm, beginning and ending in front of the Basque Museum on Grove Street downtown Boise. Walking Tour highlights include: -Downtown's evolution from gold rush boomtown, through urban renewal decline, and 21st century revitalization -The oldest and newest buildings downtown, spanning 150 years of construction -Buildings associated with Boise’s historic Basque, German, Jewish, and Chinese communities -The Idaho State Capitol and Boise City Hall -Buildings designed by early pioneers and nationally known master architects -The Egyptian Theater
Ceramics teach a number of a valuable skills, including perseverance, patience, problem solving, and creativity! Bring your kiddos in to come and play with clay and learn how to use this fun medium to create functional and decorative pieces.
We'll alternate between learning the basics of handbuilding, wheel throwing, and glazing each week, so sign your kids up for multiple sessions to give them the full experience! Each student will proudly come out of class with at least one or two ceramic pieces that they built themselves. Ceramic artists and experienced teachers, Mindy Curran & Ben Alexander, will facilitate this class.
