Whether you're into personal stories, art, poetry, activism, or pure weirdness, this monthly drop-in workshop is your space to create and share on your own terms. Come make zines that reflect your voice, your style, and your story. Start from scratch or bring a work-in-progress.

Zines are a powerful tool for self-expression, blending storytelling, art, and DIY publishing. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to design and reproduce your own mini-publications using collage, drawing, and layout techniques. Whether you're exploring personal narratives, social commentary, or creative play, zine-making builds confidence and offers a flexible outlet for bold, handmade expression.

Practice your drawing skills in our popular figure drawing session! We have a wide range of models who pose for us to keep the subject fresh, diverse and inclusive. Models will be clothed in whatever way they choose. Over the years, we've included people from all walks of life, from college students and grandparents to burlesque dancers and pin-up models in full costume!

Each session will consist of a few quick gesture poses to get you warmed up, followed by several 15-30 minute poses. A short, 5-10 minute break during the session will be used for a gallery walk to view each other's work and share feedback and support. All levels welcome, no formal training is provided in this session. Ages 16 to adult. Feeling rusty? We've seen notable drawing improvement in just a few weeks... Practice makes progress!

Join us at Meriwether Cider House in Downtown for a night of trivia hosted and written by the always lovely and hilarious Kevin Blakeslee!
Free to play and you can win awesome prizes!
No RSVP is needed, just show up with a couple friends and get ready to laugh and drink great cider!
The Cider House is 21+ dogs are allowed on the patio.

We can all use some ooey-gooey cheesy goodness accompanied with a cold cider!
Local food trucks will be providing multiple varieties of grilled goodness and Meriwether will be freely pouring all the cidery gold!

Join us every Wednesday in the Boise Brewing taproom for trivia with Geeks Who Drink, hosted by Professor Truman. Stretch those brain muscles and test your knowledge of random trivia facts, including music and film clip rounds! Plus, you have a chance to win beer in every round! Top 3 finishing teams each week receive Boise Brewing gift certificates.

All Zoo Boise daily admissions are only $3 each on every Thursday from November 2025 – February 2026. An inexpensive way to have a fun day or wild family adventure in Boise!

(Open 10AM – 5PM, last admission at 4PM. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.)
