Living Well With Diabetes: Workshop
6 week workshop on Thursdays, 1:45pm-3:45pm

This program is a 6-week workshop with the Southwest Idaho Area Agency on Aging designed for anyone who lives with diabetes or cares for someone with diabetes. We will learn self-management tools such as nutrition, preventing complications, managing emotions, action-planning, and much more. Registration is required.

Ring in the Holidays at the Idaho State Museum!

Join us for our 4th Annual Holiday Fest during Downtown Boise’s First Thursday on December 4, 2025, from 5–8 PM.

Celebrate the season with a vendor fair featuring local Idaho artists, makers, and organizations. Enjoy festive music, crafts, wine and tea tastings, and free hot cocoa as you explore unique, handmade gifts and enjoy hands-on fun for all ages.

While you’re here, experience the wonder of Idaho’s history with access to our galleries, including our newest exhibits, Sage Brush and Brushstrokes and Hidden in Plain Sight.

Don’t forget to stop by the M Store, our destination retail gift shop—open seven days a week—for even more Idaho-inspired treasures.

Friday December 5th, it’s the Meridian Winter Lights Parade Downtown Meridian, Pre-parade activities at 6PM, Parade at 7PM - The mainstage is located at Main Street and Idaho Street just across the street from Generations Plaza where the tree will stay all season long.

12/5, Faith, Hope, and Charity: These three virtues are interconnected and essential for personal and spiritual growth. They often come to the forefront during the winter holidays. We’ll show how these living virtues shape our actions and enrich our lives.

Every session will include:
* Collecting images related to the theme
* Card making - all materials provided
* Inviting conversations between you and your cards
* A presentation and group discussion on the theme
* Making new friends
* Meaningful fun
