Tree City Chamber Players presents “French Favorites: Part Deux,” chamber works for flute, oboe, and piano. Featured on the program are Ravel’s Ma mère l'Oye, Debussy’s Six Épigraphes Antiques, L. 131, selections from Bizet’s Jeux d’enfants, Op. 22, and additional works by Eugène Bozza and Philippe Gaubert. Two Boise performances: Saturday May 31st, 3PM, at Red Rock Christian Church (1124 S. Roosevelt St.) and Sunday June 1st, 3PM, at Southminster Presbyterian Church (6500 W. Overland Rd.) Donations are welcome at the door. Suggested donations: $25/adult, $15 senior/student, children under 12 are free. We will be donating 10% of proceeds from these concerts to Ride for Joy, an organization that provides equine-assisted services for children and adults with disabilities in southwestern Idaho. Additionally, we will be presenting selections from our recital program for several children’s concerts at Boise Public Library branches for ‘Musical Tales at the Library,’ an educational outreach opportunity made possible by a generous grant from the Boise Department of Arts and History.
