Community Calendar

Join us at the Idaho State Museum on Saturday, May 3rd, from 10 AM to 5 PM, to celebrate the many cultures that make up the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in Idaho.

This community day will feature cultural performances, crafts, and activities for all ages, as well as a vendor fair, food trucks, and a pop-up exhibit exploring the history of Idaho’s Korean community through the traditional music and dance of Okhee Chang. Performances include Indo Idaho, Bollywood Beats, Idaho Island Festival, and the Filipino American Association of Idaho. Admission is free all day!

Thank you to the following organizations for collaborating and helping make this community day possible: Indo Idaho, Filipino American Association of Idaho, Idaho Island Festival, Japanese American Citizens League, Global Lounge, and the Idaho Museum of International Diaspora.

CBH On the Block is BACK every Saturday! Join us in Klamath Falls and Southridge from 12-4pm for FREE* food trucks, tours of furnished model homes, and a chance to connect with our team.

We are featuring two artists in May, Valeria Yost from Princeton, Idaho, and local artist and gallery member Sharon Herther. Valeria is a nationally-known painter working in acrylics, watercolor and scratch board. She has earned awards from many US shows in places ranging from Prescott, Arizona, to Paso Robles, California, to Charleston, South Carolina. Some of her favorite subjects are horses and the landscapes and wildlife of Idaho. Sharon Herther is well-known for her wonderful Idaho landscapes in watercolor and acrylic. She has been awarded a number of public art projects, including interpretive signs for the Ponderosa State Park, Mission State Park and Bruneau Sand Dunes and The Discovery Maps for McCall and Twin Falls.
