For more than 22 years, A New Beginning Adoption Agency has walked alongside children and families through ethical infant adoption and foster-adoption. As a licensed adoption agency, and a non-profit, we aim to ethically support all members of the adoption triad.
We offer free, virtual monthly information sessions for families who feel called to learn more. Whether you’re just beginning to explore adoption or simply gathering information, these seminars provide a welcoming space to ask questions, understand your options, and consider what might be right for your family with no pressure and no obligation.

Join us for the 5th Annual Blood, Sweat & Cheers Charity Topgolf Fundraiser! This fun fill event brings together community members, businesses, and supporters for an evening of friendly competition networking and giving back.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit Camp Red Sunrise, a summer camp that provides youth and their families in the bleeding disorder community with a safe, supportive and unforgettable camp experience.
Whether you’re an experienced golfer or picking up a club for the first time, your participation helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by bleeding disorder.

This six-week introductory nature journaling workshop for adults will meet on certain Wednesday mornings at the Garden City Library from July 1 to September 16, 2026.

Please be available to attend all 6 classes

Each 1.5 hour session will include instruction indoors, followed by outdoor sketching, writing, and recording about nature observations and explanations, then indoor/outdoor sharing of experiences. The classes are designed to enhance nature connection and build a community of nature journalers.

The first class will include an introduction to phenology wheels, a creative way to document seasonal changes. Additional sessions will include an introduction to nature journaling techniques, and then a focus each week on using words, pictures, and numbers on your journal pages.

Participants will be encouraged to focus on one of the five senses (seeing, hearing, smelling, touching) each week too, as well as considering their experience of birds, flowers, insects, and trees. The last class will end in a celebratory conclusion while enjoying the final sense (tasting!).

The course is suitable for adults and seniors of all skill levels. Please commit to attending all six classes if you register.

You don't need to be an artist or a naturalist to begin - you can learn nature journaling and practice these skills anywhere, anytime - and develop your own personal style over time. Let's get started!

The class is limited to 10 participants to ensure maximum attention. Some supplies will be provided (sketchbook, pens and colored pencils) but you are also welcome to bring your own. Handouts will be provided, as well as additional resources. 

**Eagle Plein Air Festival**
**October 3–10, 2026 | Eagle, Idaho**

Experience Idaho through the eyes of more than 80 artists during the 12th Annual Eagle Plein Air Festival. For one exciting week, artists will paint outdoors throughout Eagle, Boise and the surrounding Treasure Valley, capturing the beauty and character of Southwest Idaho.

The community is invited to watch artists paint, meet the painters, enjoy **free demonstrations and lessons**, and experience the excitement of the **Quick Draw Challenge** in downtown Eagle. Visitors can also explore the **Nocturnal Paint Outs** and discover artists working in unexpected locations.

The week culminates with an **Awards Reception & Art Showcase** and the **Festival Show & Sale**, where visitors can view and purchase original paintings created during the festival.

Whether you're an artist, art lover, collector or simply curious, the Eagle Plein Air Festival is a wonderful way to experience **art, adventure and community** in Eagle.

101 – Egyptian Style Belly Dance for Beginners

Discover Egyptian Raks Sharki, the classic Egyptian style at the heart of modern belly dance performance. This welcoming beginner course introduces foundational movements including hip work, graceful arms, posture, shimmies, traveling steps, and simple combinations, along with the musicality and expressive qualities that make Egyptian dance so captivating.
