Step into Boise's rich history with WalkAbout Boise! Join Preservation Idaho every Saturday in downtown Boise for an approximately 90-minute guided walking tour through 150 years of history and architecture. Let us introduce you to the built environment that makes downtown Boise like no other place.
Explore the heart of Idaho's capital city through captivating stories, iconic landmarks, and hidden gems. Join Preservation Idaho’s experienced docents for a 90-minute guided tour through 150 years of history and architecture. They will introduce you to the built environment that makes downtown Boise like no other place.
From Basque sheepherders to political power players and local sandstone to Egyptian hieroglyphs, this tour makes Boise history come alive.
Tours take place every Saturday at 10 AM, starting on May 18th and continuing through November 23rd, beginning and ending in front of the Basque Museum and Cultural Center on Grove Street in downtown Boise.

Cost: $10 for Preservation Idaho members, $15 for non-members, $8 for children 13 and under (credit card processing fees apply).

Tour details: These walking tours will be held rain or shine, so please plan and dress accordingly with comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, an umbrella if needed for sun or rain, and a bottle of water. Tours will start promptly at 10 AM and end around 11:30 AM.

Ceramics teach a number of a valuable skills, including perseverance, patience, problem solving, and creativity! Bring your kiddos in to come and play with clay and learn how to use this fun medium to create functional and decorative pieces.
We'll alternate between learning the basics of handbuilding, wheel throwing, and glazing each week, so sign your kids up for multiple sessions to give them the full experience! Each student will proudly come out of class with at least one or two ceramic pieces that they built themselves. Ceramic artists and experienced teachers, Mindy Curran & Ben Alexander, will facilitate this class.

Sip, Stretch, and Unwind with Free Yoga on the LawnEvery Saturday starting July 11th!
Start your weekend with a breath of fresh mountain air and a free, all-levels yoga session on the lawn. After your flow, kick back with a drink on Smoky’s deck and enjoy live music from 1–3 PM.
Yoga is open to all ages and abilities. Guests 21+ can enjoy lawn bar service delivered directly to their mat!
This will be a fun filled event at Valkyrie arms.
Bring your best costume as Alaric Radio will be giving away prizes for best costume. One for kids and one for adults. There will also be vendors( who will have candy for the kids to trick or treat, food trucks, decorations and Zombie shooting (digitally) at the facility for a low cost.
This is an all ages event and free to attend to celebrate Halloween. So bring your best costume and lets have some fun.
Toltec Energy Dance Class
Discover a moving meditation combining intentional movement, breath, awareness, and focused attention. Inspired by Toltec teachings, Toltec Energy Dance uses simple movement practices to cultivate presence, quiet the internal dialogue, increase awareness, and strengthen intent.Instructor Chad Rinn brings more than 30 years of study and practice on the Toltec path. No dance experience is necessary. This is a six-week course that meets once a week for one hour. The $88 registration fee includes all six classes. Instructor: Chad Rinn
