Fern Spores is a femme-folk-rock band hailing from Olympia, WA. Gracefully flowing between vintage psych folk, garage rock, clever covers, and soulful Americana ballads they curate a truly original sound. Angsty but uplifting, whimsical yet fierce, and as rock as it is roll. They serve up anthems of empowerment with a sprinkle of humor and a side of revolt.
Fern Spores is a femme-folk-rock band rooted in Olympia, WA. Gracefully flowing between vintage psych folk, garage rock, clever covers, and soulful Americana ballads they curate a truly original sound. Their songs are both anthems of empowerment and poignant reflections on life’s highs and lows. Angsty but uplifting, whimsical yet fierce, and as rock as it is roll. Drawing inspiration from musical legends like Janis Joplin, Susan Tedeschi, and The Runaways, they infuse vintage tones with modern perspective.
Fern Spores is an all woman band fronted by singer-songwriters Alyssa Nunke and Jade Kovats. Their full band arrangement includes Abbey Ryle (fiddle), and Katie Welch (drums). Their debut album, The Understory, released in 2024 and they are currently working on their second album, The Thicket. They’ve performed over 200 shows across 5 states since forming in 2023.

Creation’s Colors culminates from Elizabeth Orlovich’s artistic endeavor to “Rebel against a world that seeks to snuff out hope.” Dealing with a chronic invisible illness, she finds hope in sunsets and her relationship with Jesus Christ; painting subjects of joy with all the colors of the world, she works to draw her attention, and now ours, to the beauty of life despite its hardships.
