Step into the world of precision woodworking and digital craftsmanship using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) technology!
Our knowledgeable instructor will guide you through the basics of CNC machining by introducing design practices with Carbide Create CAD/CAM Software (free windows or mac download), safety protocols, CNC tool setup, and material milling (with a demo). At the end of this session participants will select a CNC project and schedule a follow-up session to use the Nomad3 CNC at unBound. The library will provide digital designs and all needed materials for several different types of projects including trays, signs, various boxes with lids, 3D relief carvings, and wood inlays.
After these two sessions, participants will be 'badged' and can then reserve the CNC machine for their personal use.
Registration required!
The Boise Bard Players presents Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing! All the wedding drama. None of your crazy family members. This is Shakespeare like you’ve never seen before—Much Ado stripped down to its rebellious, fast-talking heart. Six Actors. One Hour. No Stage.
The story: When war heroes Claudio and Benedick return home, they expect a victory lap. Instead, they find themselves caught in a crossfire of wit and wicked schemes. While the young and naive fall for shadowy plots, the legendary witty Beatrice and Benedick wage a “merry war” of words that might just be the greatest love story never told.
This touring play is brought to life all around you, at your table, barstool, or booth. We are jumping off the stage and right into your lives—in fact, we won’t even HAVE a stage this time.
The ultimate “enemies to lovers” story written 400 years ago takes new life as we drop the fourth wall and bring you, wherever you are, into the action. Each performance is site specific and unique.
NOTE: 9 pm shows are 21+ performances. Ever hear how Shakespeare is just “bawdy” jokes? Yeah. It is. Adult Night performances are where we really get to lean into it.
Come be part of the wacky magic.
